POTTY TRAINING. AAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

Hi everyone! Sorry I haven't updated in so long. I have been very busy. I am trying to potty train Bryson and I am having an impossible time. I am flying through laundry soap because I will tell him to go potty and he'll insist that he doesn't have to go and then not two minutes later, he'll come out with new clothes on because he has wet his pants. At least it's not number 2 anymore, I guess. FRUSTRATING! Anyway...Emerie is just as beautiful as ever. Everytime I go in to get her up in the morning or from one of her naps, she greets me with a huge smile full of sunshine. She now has two bottom teeth and she's starting to roll over from her back. She's been rolling from her stomach to her back for a few months now. She's also trying to sit up. Kids, they're always in a hurry to grow up!

1. I am supersticious and I hate chain letters. You never know. I don't need any more bad luck!

2. My favorite place to be is the ocean because I feel like anything could be on the other side and that is thrilling to me.

3. There's nothing better than cuddling up on the couch with a good book or movie on a rainy or snowy day.

4. I am actually a writer and I have started about a hundred stories that I have left abandoned around my house because I haven't found the inspiration I need to write my novel yet. (VERY FRUSTRATING!!!)

5. I want to own my own country inn.

6. I don't want to be rich. I just want a nice home that belongs to me, two reliable vehicles, some money aside for the kids' college, and maybe a vacation once a year. That's my dream.

7. Funny fact...From age 2 until about 16 I wanted to be a singer. I used to make all my cousins sit and listen to me. Then one day I realized that I lacked talent and that's sort of important! :)

I have been nervous to give Emerie a regular bath so I have been just "sponging" her off. Well I started bathing her in the sink and she became the happiest clam! She loves tubby time and she screamed at me when I started getting her dressed after I dried her off. HAHA. C.J. and Bryson both hated baths. It's a nice change. Oh...Her cold also seems to be improving finally. She's not coughing near as much and her eyes have stopped weeping. Yay!

Comfort Zone

Well, Emerie is now 8lb 9oz. This is due to the fact that all she does is eat and sleep! :) Bryson is doing excellent as far as the baby is concerned, however, he can't seem to stop getting into everything and I feel exhausted. He's just curious but my lack of energy is making it hard for me to remember that. :( It turned out that the cold we thought Bryson had was actually an ear infection. We had no idea because he never pulled at his ear or said anything about it until the morning we took him to the doctor. He has done the 10 day antibiotics and he seems better but I'll feel better about it after his next check up. Christmas is almost here!

We went to the doctor and Emerie is A Ok. She is, however, getting a cold, but jaundice is no longer a problem. Yeah!!!!!!! She is now staying awake a little longer and she is smiling more and more. That's my favorite part of motherhood. All the sweet smiles and giggles!

Welcome Baby Emerie!

We welcomed Emerie Delila Bergman. She was 7 pounds 11 ounces and 20 and a half inches long. She had a full head of dark hair and the sweetest dimple on her right cheek. We are very proud parents and C.J. and Bryson are very proud brothers. They have been great with her and our family has been extremely helpful. We are so greatful for that. Emerie has slight Jaundice so we have a doctor apointment Monday morning to see about that. I'll keep everyone posted.
